WHAT
WE DO:

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.

We are a non-profit organization that aims to strengthen communities that are impacted in Africa by poor infrastructure and underdevelopment. We know how to garner strength, and we must do this in numbers. Like-minds can bring the change that many African communities desire and need.

We are committed to implementing programs and projects that contribute to the development of infrastructure in communities, focusing on areas such as community safety, access to affordable healthcare, early education, sustainable living, drivable roadways and bridges, and environmental sanitation policies.

Infrastructure in Communities

Community Safety

Affordable Healthcare

The challenges that African's face in their communities are often detrimental to their livelihoods. The homes are often made of cheap and hazardous materials and there are rarely any funds available to fix these pressing issues. We want to change this and make life more livable in communities. With the incorporation of solar powered lighting or sanitation we know these simple factors will make a major difference in a short time.

In many of the impoverished communities we've witnessed numerous concerns for safety. There are places that people have to walk daily and they often are forced to take major risks by walking the only paths available to them. By incorporating sidewalks free from possible obstruction from drivers we can assure that people will be protected in times of danger.

The healthcare system in Africa has not always been the best. If people cannot afford healthcare, they will often succumb to major sickness or often death prematurely due to a lack of resources or monetary help. We wish to build clinics and healthcare centers that are affordable and reachable within suffering communities.

Education

Sustainable Living

The children of Africa are suffering from a lack of motivation from their schooling system. The teachers are often underpaid and overworked leaving children left behind. At A.C.I.D., we know how important an education is for one's future and we wish to improve the areas of focus in the existing scholastic foundations.

The people of these communities often go hungry and without food. Sometimes they do not have the funds to allocate lighting for their homes. These are basic needs that every human is entitled to. We wish to put running water and accessible shopping centers for all to enjoy.

Roadways & Bridges

With focusing on the development of roadways & bridges in these surrounding communities, we will create better methods for transportation for many natives. Vehicles are often unable to pass through roadways leaving many to go without work and accessibility. We wish to improve the driving conditions and build bridges that are safe to travel.

Latest Projects

IMG_1986.JPG

Our organization has successfully donated gently worn clothing to a local community. This community is located in the rural areas of Korforidua, Ghana. Our Chief Strategic Officer helped us to focus on this small community to see what we can do to help with our resources.

When we visited the community, we realized that not only were they unable to afford decent housing, but they have no access to electricity. So, we decided to do something about it. Our next project is to donate solar electricity to the community. Due to their location, they are unable to connect to the electricity grid of Ghana and have no access to the main roads. This leaves the community vulnerable and unable to utilize the necessary energy needed for survival throughout the day and night.

We wish to partner with Sunway Tech to bring solar electricity to this community. The total costs for installation is $10,000.00 USD. We need your help to donate to this cause. Please become a helping hand with ACID, so that we can bring more smiles to this community.
